Crews Battle 2nd Alarm Dwelling Fire in Fawn Twp

At 01:36 hours station 54 was request for an engine to respond to 280 Mt. Olivet Church Road for a dwelling fire in Fawn Grove's first due. Engine 54-2 (Lt Rorke) responded with six personnel within minutes of being dispatched. Fawn Grove's duty officer was being advised by York Co. 911 that they were receiving "multiple" calls for a working garage fire with extension into the house. Duty officer 56 then requested 2nd alarm and tanker task force. Tanker 54-1(Ass't Chief Russell) then responded within minutes of being dispatched. The crew from Engine 54-2 assisted with attacking the fire on Division 2 side "Charlie", and placing ground ladders. Tanker 54-1 provided water for the attack. Units cleared around 04:00 hours.
